Lakers / STAPLES Center Arena

The STAPLES Center has been home for the Lakers for over 20 years; the building has seen multiple championships won, battles fought and endless amounts of iconic moments. I had the opportunity to re-design the banners and various locker room decals throughout the arena, alongside creating multiple giveaways for fans.

Always trying to keep it simple but bold, my thought process was to take the Lakers logo and transform it in multiple ways so that it brought sense of cohesiveness throughout the arena but also didn’t overwhelm the fan.

In-Arena Banners / Decals

Banners & decals were displayed at the beginning of the 2019-20 season throughout every section in the arena, player tunnels and on-court.

Giveaways

Giveaways ranged from beanies, towels to posters and were given to fans throughout the season at certain Laker games.
